Fee setup starts with heads — tuition, admission, exam, transport, hostel, fine… Heads are how collections are reported, so keep them meaningful.
A structure says what a program pays per head and how often (monthly / term / annual). Assign per program; individual students can carry overrides.
Grant discounts, scholarships or waivers per student in Concessions — by percent or amount, per head or overall. They apply automatically at challan generation, and the concessions report shows their true cost as contra-income.
Late-fine policy (grace days, amount) runs nightly on overdue challans — no manual chasing. Large invoices can split into installment plans with per-installment due dates.
